This is the summer of drives! We're holding two drives for items to ship to Marines and we're asking YOU to hold a drive in your community as well. Our warehouse is virtually empty and we've got to ship 1100 care packages to Marines in Afghanistan on August 28. We've got the funding well under way with the Dollar Campaign, and now we need the products to send!

Our deployed Marines do! Join Marine Parents in helping our deployed men and women keep clean by raising 1100 packages of baby wipes by August 28, 2010. By holding this drive we hope to put one (80-count) package of baby wipes in each care package.

Our deployed Marines do! And so does MarineParents.com; we’re driven to support our Marines!
While overseas, men and women are still required to follow uniform regulations. MarineParents.com is counting on our volunteers and donators to help our men and women serving overseas have clean T-shirts that are “within regs.”
The goal of this drive is to collect 1100 olive drab skivvy shirts (S, M, L, or XL) for the upcoming August 28th packing day. This is the T-shirt your Marine wears under his or her camouflage uniform and it’s suitable during deployment as well as stateside or in-country.

For the low price of $15.00, you can donate a packages of 3 skivvy shirts! Through this drive, we can make sure each box that goes out for the next shipment has at least one uniform required shirt to support the needs of the Marines.

Marine Parents is always looking for volunteers to host drives for our upcoming packing dates.
The list below contains a few great ideas for what to collect when hosting a drive for the Care Package Project:
- Black socks
- White socks
- Men’s and Women’s razors (No Single Blade)
- Foot care items (foot powder, anti fungal, mole skin, Band-Aids, foot inserts, athlete’s foot ointment)
- Sunglasses
- Chapstick
- Baby wipes
- Beef jerky
- Granola bars
